A brand-new episode of Big Brother 21 aired last night. It was Big Brother 21 Episode 12. In this episode, we saw fallout from the Comeback Competition, the Head of Household, and the nomination ceremony. There was no Whacktivity Competition this episode as all the Whacktivities have been played.

Big Brother 21 Episode 12 aired last night. In Episode 11, the Six Shooters alliance formed and blindsided Cliff by a vote of 6-4. In the process, they also blindsided Head of Household Nick Maccarone and his showmance Isabella “Bella” Wang.  Then, Cliff won his way back into the house by winning the Comeback Competition.

Big Brother 21 Episode 12 picked up where Episode 11 left off, after Cliff Hogg III had just returned to the Big Brother house after winning the Comeback Competition. In this episode, we saw fallout from the Comeback Competition, Head of Household Competition, last-minute scrambling and nomination ceremony.

Big Brother 21 Episode 12 begins

Big Brother 21 Episode 12 began with a recap that lasted a couple of minutes. After that, the show launched into its main title sequence.

Comeback Competition and live eviction fallout

Cliff was happy that he was back in the house. Tommy was surprised that Cliff ended up being the one to return. Kathryn “Kat” Dunn was upset that David Alexander didn’t come back. She had gotten close to David and knew how badly he wanted to play.

Meanwhile, Nick and Sam Smith felt betrayed by the six who voted to evict Cliff. The Six Shooters tried to do damage control with Nick, Bella, and Sam. Nicole celebrated her survival in the storage room with Jackson Michie. Michie made sure Nicole knew the six names who voted to save her so that she would trust them later. However, it was clear Unde9able was broken beyond repair.

Michie also tried to smooth things over with Cliff. Michie banished Cliff with his Camp Director Power week one and then blindsided him this past week. As a result, Michie knew he was in trouble with Cliff. However, Cliff didn’t buy what Michie was selling.

Head of Household Competition

After the drama of the fallout, it was time for the Head of Household Competition. All remaining houseguests, except Nick, played in the “Patch Perfect” Head of Household Competition. Nick was not eligible to compete as the outgoing HOH.

For the HOH Competition, players had to answer questions about a set of BB merit badges. Players answered by choosing the patch they thought was correct. Two players were eliminated every round no matter what. If two people answered incorrectly in a round, they were out. If everybody answered correctly, the last two to buzz in would be eliminated.

Bella and Cliff felt they needed to win HOH. Tommy Bracco felt it was crucial that one of the Six Shooters won the HOH Competition so that Nick and Bella would go on the block. Nicole Anthony wanted to win badly so that she could prove she can win and wanted to shake up the house.

Holly Allen and Nicole were eliminated in the first round. Kat and Bella were eliminated in round two. Jessica Milagros and Analyse Talavera were eliminated in round three. Sam Smith and Michie were eliminated in round four.

Christie Murphy and Tommy were eliminated in round five and the competition came down to Jack Matthews and Cliff. In the end, Cliff beat Jack to win HOH and the balance of power finally shifted in the Big Brother house.

HOH Competition fallout and last-minute scrambling

Cliff celebrated his HOH room in the diary room and later in the storage room with what he called “Victory Dance Number Two.” He also promised Nick he was good. Nick was excited that Cliff won after Cliff’s promise. Jack was disappointed about the results and realized the irony of what just happened.

Nick wanted to get rid of Jack, while Bella wanted to get rid of Christie. Cliff informed Nicole she would be safe for the week.

Michie came up with a crazy plan. He would offer himself up as a pawn to Cliff. That way, he could win the Power of Veto and Christie would activate her Panic Power. Christie’s power would allow Michie to then name the replacement nominee instead of Cliff. Should his plan fall into place, he would nominate Nick or Bella as the replacement nominee.

Michie then approached Christie about his plan. Christie confirmed with Michie she would use her power on him if he wanted. In the diary room, Christie felt Michie’s plan was insane. However, she felt it was so insane that it just might work. As a result, Christie knew they needed to get Cliff on board with the plan.

In the HOH room, Cliff tried to form an alliance of four with Jessica, Nicole, Kat, and himself. Nicole supported the idea but didn’t know where Jessica and Kat stood. Cliff wasn’t sure he could trust any of them completely but felt like they needed to band together.

Michie then went up to the HOH room to set his plan in motion. Michie told Cliff about his plan and made his best sales pitch as to why it made sense for him too. Michie then sent Christie up to the HOH room to tell Cliff about her power. However, Cliff still didn’t trust Michie and didn’t feel intimidated by him.

Christie then went up to the HOH room with Michie and told Cliff about her Panic Power. Cliff felt he would have to re-evaluate who he would nominate as a result of Christie’s information.

Before the nomination ceremony, we saw a scene sure to make everyone cringe and possibly vomit. Jack was sitting in the living room eating a cucumber. Michie then asked to take the cucumber and wash it. He went to the bathroom, eating the cucumber along the way. When he got to the bathroom, he went to the toilet and did who knows what with it.

Michie then put the cucumber in his mouth and washed his hands before going back to the living room. When he went back to the living room, he took one last bite and gave the rest back to Jack. Jessica was disgusted by this.

We then saw Bella go up to the HOH room to talk to Cliff. Cliff told her he didn’t think it was a good idea to evict her or Nick. Bella suggested getting rid of Jack or Michie.

We then saw people from the Six Shooters go up to the Head of Household room to try and keep themselves safe. Cliff tried to convince Christie she would be safe so that Christie wouldn’t use her power this week. Cliff informed viewers there would be new people being nominated.

Nomination ceremony

At the nomination ceremony, Cliff nominated Jack and Michie for eviction. Michie wasn’t surprised that he was nominated as that had been part of his plan. However, he had not been expecting to be nominated alongside Jack. Michie then said Cliff was his number one target.

Jack felt confident Cliff would regret his decision. Christie then revealed she didn’t know whether she would use the Panic Power on Michie as promised. Cliff knew he was taking a huge chance that Christie wasn’t going to use her power.
