What world has Juliana traveled to in The Man in the High Castle Season 4?

The Man in the High Castle Season 4 has released an official sneak peek and it shows the world Juliana has traveled to, but what world is it?

It’s the final countdown until The Man in the High Castle Season 4. November will be here before we know, where we will get the epic conclusion to the sci-fi, alternate history, series.

In the run-up to the release, Amazon dropped an official sneak peek of the upcoming Prime Video at San Diego Comic-Con. It shows us exactly where Juliana has traveled to and who she meets first. Fair warning, if you do not want spoilers to the upcoming season, you should stop reading now.

Being honest, part of me is not surprised that it is John Smith that Juliana has ran into first. However, Juliana running into John isn’t the most interesting thing to take away from the sneak peek. It’s the question of what world has Juliana arrived in?

Because this isn’t the world Tagomi visited at the end of Season 1 and throughout Season 2. A version of Juliana exists in that world and, as learned in the previous season, travelers can only travel to worlds where their counterpart is no longer alive.

So, unless Juliana’s counterpart in the world Tagomi visited died, which is possible, our Juliana has traveled to a different world. A world that will be different from the world Tagomi visited, which is the same as our own world today, and the world where Juliana has come from, where the Nazi and Japanese won the war.

From the sneak peek, we can see that the U.S. did not lose the war. So what might have changed? It all seems relatively peaceful as if nothing occurred, maybe Wold War II never happened? Or maybe, in this world, the U.S. won, but in turn, became the oppressors?

It’s going to be really exciting to see how this new world differs from the worlds we have seen already and how that will affect Juliana moving forward. Personally, with The Man in the High Castle Season 4 being the final season, I would put good money on this world being more peaceful and holding the key to bringing the suffering from Juliana’s world to an end.
