4. Ingrid loses her baby.

I had a feeling not everyone would make it out of the balcony accident unscathed. Initially, it appears only Javi is injured in the crash. Then Ingrid collapses later in the episode, and by the time she reaches the hospital, it’s already too late. The stress of the accident causes her to miscarry.

Even though I don’t think what Ingrid was right. I still feel bad for her, and I do believe she deserves a break. Jason laying into Ingrid about everything, despite it not even being his business, seemed unnecessary on top of everything else. Ingrid has already been punished enough and is genuinely repentant of her mistakes, why have the one friend she has left turn on her to?

Maybe to make her turn to Mateo, who suddenly decides to be a supportive almost-father? It also appears Ingrid may be staying at the Finn Hotel for a while longer. I imagine that’s not going to end well for her. Also, will she ever find out that Mateo pulling strings technically caused her miscarriage?

3. Yoli and Carolina put their faith in the wrong man.

It took several episodes, but we finally get to meet Victor this week. He’s played by the dashing Adrian Pasdar who is a pretty perfect fit for the role. As we know, Victor is the biological father of Yoli and Carolina. Gigi wants nothing to do with him, which is why the girls have to keep their meet-ups with him a secret.

Unknowingly, they work right into the palm of his hand. His intentions for his daughters aren’t exactly paternal. While we don’t know what Victor has planned yet, it can’t be good. They fall for his sob story and offer to let Victor move into the hotel. I’m not sure how they think they’re going to hide that from Gigi.
