2. Brooklyn Nine-Nine

Of the 5 shows to make this list, only one is live-action and that’s Brooklyn Nine-Nine. A product of Fox originally, the series ran for 5 seasons before it got the ax. Bob’s Burgers would go on to take its time slot to much chagrin. Eventually, the show was picked up by NBC with its 6th season wrapping up earlier this year and a 7th season on the way.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine surprisingly has a lot of similarities to Bob’s. Both shows feature wonderful characters you can’t help but love, a sometimes dumb but still sweet sense of humor and each put a twist on professions that aren’t normally funny. Most notably, the two shows are extremely beloved by the internet with lots of gifs, fan art and much more is made of the two franchises. As far as differences go, the two shows don’t have much in common other than what’s mentioned above.

As Bob’s Burgers is an animated show, it would seem that the show doesn’t have many limitations but the same can be said about Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Both shows are willing to go the extra mile for a gag. That’s probably why some of the Brooklyn Nine-Nine cast has made guest appearances on Bob’s including Andy Samberg, Joe Lo Truglio, and Stephanie Beatriz.

Both shows are just so charming. There was no way that I couldn’t include Brooklyn Nine-Nine on this list. If you like Bob’s Burgers, then there’s a good chance that you’re going to enjoy Brooklyn Nine-Nine, too. The two shows are both available on Hulu, too.
