Hanging With The Hendersons releases exclusive clip of Season 2 finale
Animal Planet’s Hanging With The Hendersons airs its season two finale on Saturday, and Hidden Remote has an exclusive clip to share.
Two years ago, the video of veterinarian Dr. Ross Henderson singing to a golden retriever prior to the pup’s surgery went viral. Then, in January of 2019, Ross, his brother Ryan and their father Tony, also veterinarians, got their own Animal Planet reality TV series, Hanging With The Hendersons. It’s only been seven months, but the show’s season two is already coming to a close with its finale this Saturday.
The Hendersons became animal-lover legends very quickly, Ross being dubbed “The Singing Veterinarian” and their family-run Fox Hollow Animal Hospital was put on center stage, the show spotlighting Colorado’s wacky and wild vet clinic cases.
From pig and wolf sanctuaries to melancholy family chickens, there has never been a dull moment for viewers who flip on their televisions to hang with the Henderson men.
Hanging With The Hendersons‘ season two kicked off just last month off with Ross and Ryan giving some medical TLC to three dogs needing expert care, the first bitten by a venomous snake, the second a Great Dane who mistook his tail for a chew toy and Collie with a cancerous mass on its mouth.
Though the season is already coming to an end this weekend, the Hendersons are closing the story’s second chapter with another couple of dog tales and Hidden Remote has an exclusive clip for one, below:
The short segment of the show’s season two finale starts off with five children and their mom bringing their spotted and smiling mut into the Fox Hollow Animal Hospital to see the Henderson brothers about some serious “Poppers,” as stated by the family’s daughter Mandy.
“Poppers is not a medical term,” says Dr. Ryan in the clip. “But ‘Poppers’ is the Mandy-ism for toots, farts, gas.”
The show takes its typical adorable turn when Dr. Ryan sets the kids up with hair nets and plastic stethoscopes to listen to their dog’s breathing.
The rest of the 40 minute finale, in an effort to not give away too many spoilers, will feature the Hendersons investigating a dog’s inability to walk, encountering an elderly bird old enough to be a Henderson brother, and introducing another fury friend to its forever home.
While Hanging With The Hendersons has had a successful two-season run, but Animal Planet has yet to announce if the Henderson family will grace fan’s TV screens for a third season.
