Movies to watch on Netflix in Sept. 2019

Travis Scott: Look Mom I Can Fly: Get a front row seat at Travis Scott’s life as the documentary follows Travis’ most impactful moments of his career and before stardom: From his childhood days to where he is now. Look Mom I Can Fly dropped on Netflix Aug. 28, but it’s close enough to September that we’re including it (not to mention, not many movies drop this month).

Bill Burr: Paper Tiger: Bill Burr has done it all, but what we love most is when he tells us all about it and what he’s been up to in a stand-up comedy special! Bill Burr: Paper Tiger was filmed at the Royal Albert Hall in London with a packed audience and the comedian chats about everything from Michelle Obama’s book tour to his marriage. Watch it Sept. 10.

Tall Girl: Are you a tall girl? Taller than all your friends both male and female? You’ll strongly relate and laugh (maybe even cry) along to Netflix’s Tall Girl. The movie follows Jodi (portrayed by Ava Michelle), the tallest girl in school. When a foreign exchange student, Stig (Luke Eisner), is taller than she is, Jodi forms an instant crush. Tall Girl drops on the streaming service Sept. 13.

Between Two Ferns: The Movie: You have likely seen (and loved) Zach Galifianakis’ “Between Two Ferns” segments on Funny or Die. If you haven’t, they are awkwardly hilarious. Check out one of the many clips above! If that “interview” is any indication, we are all in for a real treat! Between Two Ferns: The Movie drops Sept. 20.

Jeff Dunham: Beside Himself: Ventriloquist Jeff Dunham is back with another stand-up special! And, this time, he has a variety of topics to cover. Laugh as Jeff Dunham chats about parenting, political correctness, and more! Watch it Sept. 24 only on Netflix.

Which movie and TV series are you most excited to watch in the month of September? Did we miss an underrated gem or series that should be included? Let us know!
