Terror in the Woods and 5 Lifetime movies that are actually scary

2. The Bad Seed
McKenna Grace and Rob Lowe star in this psychological thriller about a child that is just plain bad. The movie is the second remake of the original 1956 film. If you like The Omen or Children of the Corn, The Bad Seed is part of that killer-kid genre. Grace is a force to be reckoned with already at such a young age.
She is a real talent, and no stranger to the horror genre with leading roles in everything from The Haunting of Hill House to Annabelle Comes Home. She gives another excellent performance in The Bad Seed as Emma Grossman, a ruthless killer whose own father has grown to fear her.
1. House of Darkness (2016)
The vast majority of Lifetime’s films are about real-life terrors that plague us all regularly. They don’t often incorporate elements of the paranormal or supernatural into their lexicon. That’s why House of Darkness is such a notable film since it is a traditional haunted house horror flick.
To make things even creepier, House of Darkness is supposedly based on a real story of San Francisco hauntings. The film follows a single mother who is disturbed to learn that supernatural occurrences may have caused a family tragedy.
