5 craziest moments in the 9-1-1 Season 3 premiere
2. Talk of babies
The whole episode involved talks of kids and babies. Athena and Bobby discuss the fact that they’re not going to have children—Athena isn’t going through another 18 years now that her children are grown. However, Hen and her wife are looking at donors so they can have a child together.
It’s all initially great, but I can’t help but feel there’s something serious coming along. Can we have some happiness for Hen and her wife?
Of course, there’s one couple we’ve not mentioned. Only just started dating officially, Maddy and Chimney have to have this talk about kids. Do they want them? “Definitely maybe…someday.”
Yeah, the two aren’t ready to be parents yet, but they’re not going to rule it out completely. These two are just too adorable.

1. The woman in the trunk
The craziest moment of 9-1-1 Season 3, Episode 1 had to be the “routine” traffic stop. Athena pulled over a woman who had a baby in the back seat. At first, I worried that the baby was dead but it turned out the baby was in distress. Only about an hour old, Athena quickly got the baby the help it needed.
The “mother” was arrested and questioned about the blood on her hands and feet. This wasn’t a woman who had just given birth. She definitely wasn’t the mother.
It turned out this was linked to a call that Maddy had just received. A woman called 9-1-1 delirious and talking about being stabbed. This woman had no idea where she was, but Maddy managed to call the husband and sister to get some sort of idea.
The pregnant woman had been buying second-hand baby items. That meant meeting the female driver, who literally cut the baby out of the pregnant woman, left her in the trunk to bleed out, and drove away.
Wow! Just wow! There have been some seriously crazy moments in 9-1-1 but I didn’t see that storyline playing out like that.
