5 shows to watch on Acorn TV in October 2019 (+ everything arriving)
2. No Tears
Now for a legal drama from 2002. Based on a true story, No Tears tells the story of a group of women in Ireland who learn they’ve been infected with hepatitis C during childbirth. Up against the authorities in the 1990s, they fight to protect others from contaminated blood products in the hospitals.
This isn’t just about seeking help for themselves. They don’t want this to happen to anyone else. It’s time to get to the bottom of who is to blame and how things can change in the future.
No Tears premieres on Oct. 21 on Acorn TV.
1. Agatha Raisin & the Haunted House
There’s only one show that can be at the top of the list. It’s all about the sleuth Agatha Raisin. She’s back with another TV special, and this time it’s got a Halloween focus. Agatha Raisin & the Haunted House sees Ashley Jensen back as the London PR-turned-sleuth. Agatha has opened her own detective agency, but she struggles to get any clients. Jamies suggests they investigate the local legendary haunted house as a way to build up business, but is anyone really expecting it to be as spooky as it becomes?
Agatha Christie & the Haunted House is out on Oct. 28, 2019. It’s the perfect Halloween viewing.
