The Supernatural Season 15, Episode 2 promo is here. It’s time to break it down to see what we can expect from the episode, titled Raising Hell.

There’s a new boss in town. This one is rounding up the souls of Hell, and it looks like he’s ready to put up a fight against the Winchesters and all the other humans out there. The Supernatural Season 15, Episode 2 promo gives us just a hint of what to expect.

Like all previous seasons, I’m going to break down the promos each week. I’ll give you the top five points that I spot throughout, giving us an idea of what we could see happen in the episode. Of course, I could be completely off since trailers are cut to mislead and entice.

Titled “Raising Hell,” it certainly looks like there’s a new boss. But it also looks like the Winchesters have cottoned on that someone isn’t who he says he is. Here’s a quick look at the promo before we move onto the takeaways.

Here’s the official synopsis from The CW:

"Sam (Jared Padalecki), Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Castiel (Misha Collins) call on Rowena (Guest Star Ruth Connell) to help keep the evil souls at bay and get an unexpected assist from Ketch (Guest Star David Haydn-Jones)."

As you would expect, we’re not getting into some teasery moments. Some of you may consider things from the promo spoilers. I don’t, but if you do, then you’re going to want to look at other content on the site. Can I suggest the biggest questions raised from the Supernatural Season 15 premiere?

5. The new boss in town

There’s a man quickly making himself the leader of the spirits. In the promo photos, we get a name: Francis Tumblety. For those who don’t know their history, this is a man with a connection to Jack the Ripper theories. I’ll get into them in another post this weekend.

It’s understandable that the spirits will want someone to lead them. However, how long will they stay loyal to one other spirit? We’ve got the likes of Lizzy Borden roaming the streets. They’re not all going to remain loyal to one ghost, right?

4. Rowena is by the boys’ sides

Rowena is back. We got a mention of her in the premiere, but she’s going to be physically in Episode 2. She’s working with the brothers to send the demons to hell.

We don’t get to see too much of her in the Supernatural Season 15, Episode 2 promo. However, at least they have a witch they can trust.

Rowena isn’t the only one helping. Ketch will also make an appearance, which is something we learn in the synopsis.

3. Sam has figured out they’re being played

In the promo, Sam points out that “he’s been playing” them. Who is the “he?”

It could be Francis. The brothers may have decided to work with the spirits to send them back, only to find out that they were being played. However, that doesn’t seem like something they’d do.

Another option is that they’re realized Kevin isn’t on their side. More on that in a later point.

However, my guess is that they’ve realized that this demon possessing Jack’s body is the one playing them. We knew there was something about him that we couldn’t trust. Why would he want to lock all the spirits in one location? Something felt off about that and it looks like he’s managed to get the spirits right where he wanted them.

2. The spirits don’t know what happened

It sounds like the spirits don’t understand anything that’s happened to them, and that can make them extremely dangerous. They’re willing to follow someone who has appointed himself as a leader, which is this Francis Tumblety.

From the sounds of the promo, Francis has worked out that Hell spit them out. Does that mean Hell doesn’t want them anymore? He and the others may think so. Or they just see it as an opportunity to raise a little hell.

1. Kevin may be against the Winchesters

Some of this is going to depend on which Kevin we have. However, it’s clearly a Kevin Tran from Hell, which suggests it could be the Apocalypse World Kevin. I’m just not sure how the dimensions work and whether God has brought in the Hells from other dimensions. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Either way, Kevin is back. He looks like he may be against the Winchesters. However, is it possible that he’s trying to be a double agent or is he just looking for a way to get back to his mom or find happiness somewhere in the afterlife?
