Bob’s Burgers: 5 hilariously wonderful Bob and Tina episodes

3. “The Equestranauts”

Moving to the middle of the series, the next episode is from season 5 and while it isn’t known for being a Bob and Tina episode, it does have its fair share of accolades. As far as Bob’s Burgers episodes go, this is considered one of the best. Entitled “The Equestranauts,” it’s the show’s response to My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the Brony phenomenon.

“The Equestranauts” starts with Tina getting ready to go an Equestranauts convention as planned until she realizes that it’s overrun by older male fans. She starts to bond with some guys including one who swindles her out of her Chariot doll as she doesn’t know it’s rare. Once she realizes, Tina convinces Bob to go undercover as a fan to get her doll back. A lot of crazy things happen but Bob eventually gets the doll back and only gets annoyed with Tina a little bit.

As far as fathers go, this has to make Bob one of the best. Not many parents would go undercover as a TV show convention to get their daughter’s toy back. It’s obvious how much Bob loves Tina as far as he’s willing to go. On the same token, Tina shows her appreciation every step of the way until the very end but Bob gets the last laugh. As good as the other episodes on this list are, this one is a stand-out for a reason.
