Bob’s Burgers is notoriously set in its namesake beside the most recent episode, “Legend of the Mall.” What noteworthy episodes have the same privilege?

Hearing the name Bob’s Burgers, most of us think of the show and how much we enjoy it or we think of the restaurant which inspired the name of the series. In some ways, the title means more to the characters in the show than the viewers. Run by Bob and his family, it’s their livelihood so it’s no surprise that a lot of the episodes take place there.

You might even be able to call it a workplace comedy for everyone but Bob. As we all know how fun work is, it’s nice to do something different. For the Belchers though, most of the episodes either center around the restaurant or take place there. With that setting comes certain restrictions too so a lot of episodes take place outside of the restaurant.

Looking forward to this week’s new episode, “Legends of the Mall” obviously takes place at the mall but more on that later. While the restaurant is a huge part of the series, a lot of episodes have taken place in another place such as Wagstaff, The Wharf, out in nature or simply, at another character’s house. Since the new episode isn’t set in the restaurant, there’s no better time to look back at some of the best episodes that don’t take place in the restaurant.

Of course, there will be spoilers for “Legends of the Mall” and the 5 other episodes that make the list. Be sure to watch this week’s episode before you read ahead! The only rule is that I won’t be featuring any holiday episodes as a lot of them don’t take place at the restaurant. These are 6 of the most memorable episodes that don’t take place at Bob’s Burgers.
