Sofia Wylie

Sofia Wylie portrays Gina Porter, an ambitious transfer student who is cast as Taylor McKessie and Gabriella’s understudy. Wylie notably played Buffy Driscoll in all three seasons of Disney’s Andi Mack. She’s also appeared on So You Think You Can Dance, America’s Got Talent, and Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn.

Earlier this year, she voiced the role of Ironheart in Marvel Rising‘s Heart of Iron and Battle of the Bands. Wylie also portrayed Cory Bailey in the 2019 Australian film Back of the Net.

Larry Saperstein

Larry Saperstein plays Big Red, the best friend of Ricky Bowen. His acting career has taken off this year with appearances in the film Porno and TV series The First Wives Club. He first appeared in shorts such as Finding (2010) and Blindfold (2011) before filling the role of Lucius in the 2015 film Fan Girl.

Julia Lester

Julia Lester plays Ashlyn Caswell, EJ’s cousin and the portrayer of Ms. Darbus in the musical. Just like EJ’s Matt Cornett, Lester has appeared in Bella and the Bulldogs and Game Shakers. She has also been seen in Mom, The Thundermans, Mr. Student Body President and Prince of Peoria.

Dara Reneé

Dara Reneé is Kourtney, Nini’s best friend in the series. Reneé portrayed Savannah in Disney’s 2018 Freaky Friday film. She’s also appeared in The Kids Are Alright, Black-ish and My Stepfather’s Secret in 2019 alone.
