Nov. 19 sees the New Amsterdam Season 2 fall finale. You know that means plenty of drama and a likely cliffhanger for at least one of our doctors at New Amsterdam hospital. Here’s how to make sure you catch the episode live.

The episode will start with a patient coming in with an illness that could have been preventable. You know that Max and his team of doctors will want to do everything they can to make sure that doesn’t happen again. So, what does that mean? Of course, it means the docs will head to the source of the problem.

That takes Max and Sharpe to Rikers Island. No, it’s not a little paradise or even just a small home away from home. This is the prison, and it’s as dangerous as they come.

The question is whether the problem is going to stem from the inmates or the guards. Of course, if there’s a problem with the inmates getting medical treatment, the guards aren’t going to want their negligence to get out. And if it’s something to do with the inmates, whoever is causing the biggest problem will want to cover it all up.

While Max and Sharpe are at risk there, Bloom starts her recovery. During the last episode, she got the surgery that she needed, but it means a long road to overcome everything. There’s going to be a lot of pain, and it means she can’t remain sober. However, doctors around her are going to help ensure she doesn’t become addicted.

Meanwhile, Reynolds gets an offer that could change his life. I get the feeling that Evie is going to tell him that she’s been offered a job in San Francisco that she just can’t turn down. Either their engagement is over or Reynolds will need to move out to her.
