4. Friends will help you figure out who you are

None of us really know who we want to be. We try to be everything that everyone else wants us to be or thinks we are. Case in point was Stella, who was viewed as the “fun friend.” However, she didn’t want to be the “fun friend” anymore.

Jules was the one that needed a lot of help figuring out who she is without her boyfriend. She had to restart her whole life, fitting in more with people at work and figuring out what she really wanted out of her new life.

Even Maddison needed some help figuring things out, especially when it came to her older boyfriend who happened to be married.

3. Friends help you get out of a lie

Izzy very quickly helped to get Izzy out of the identity lie. Sure, it meant coming up with another lie to tell, but it was enough to help her become Izzy at work for the first time since she started there.

There were other lies along the way, although not quite as big as Izzy’s. However, one thing that Dollface made clear was that friends will always be there for each other. They’ll get each other out of the lies they’ve told.

I won’t say friends don’t judge. Of course friends judge. That’s just part of being human. But friends push past the judgment and focus on helping you get out of those lies.
