Two Pints of Lager‘s Sheridan Smith is back in the BBC drama Care. This 90-minute TV movie follows her as a single mother struggling to raise her children after a family tragedy. She needs to rely on her mother’s help for childcare, but when her mother suffers a devastating stroke, her whole life crashes around her.

Now, Jenny must lean on her sister, Claire. However, they also need to care for their mother, who is now suffering from dementia after her stroke.

This title is available on Acorn TV on Dec. 16.

For those who want a medical drama, you need to turn to the hit Australian series, The Heart Guy. Dr. Hugh knight is back for the fourth season, and this time he’s in a fight for his life now that he’s serving out his probation following the events of the previous season. He’ll not just fight for his career. Knight is fighting for his entire family, as he faces the truth of his actions.
