It’s hard to believe that the 2010s are almost done. It feels like just yesterday that the decade started and yet, here we are, getting ready to ring in 2020. With the decade almost over, it’s nice to look back and remember all of the TV shows that came out during that decade. No surprise that there were a ton of them and of course, we have the next decade to look forward to.

In honor of the 2010s coming to a close, it’s time that we look at ten of the most decade-defining animated TV shows. While animated shows generally aren’t held in as high of a regard, they’re a major part of pop culture. Whether it be clothing, memes or posts on social media, no doubt you watched an animated show in the last ten years and at least, thought about it once or twice since you viewed it.

The 2010s, in particular, were a plethora of animated TV shows. The sheer amount of content is enormous with lots of networks joining in on the fun. While there were mainstays like Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon and Disney Channel, others brought new and refreshing content. With the rise in popularity of Netflix, it ushered in an entirely new era that we otherwise wouldn’t have even thought about.

With all that being said, it would be impossible to include all of the beloved animated TV Shows on this list. As far as the list goes, these are in no particular order nor is anything being ranked. Rather, each of these shows has defined the 2010’s in some way and was added to the list. Additionally, there will be some honorable mentions if you don’t see your favorite show on the list.
