As we look ahead to Dancing with the Stars season 29, we’re taking a look at 12 stars we’d love to see compete and the pros we’d like to see them paired with!

Another season of Dancing with the Stars has officially come and gone, bringing with it another memorable (and polarizing) batch year of competition. Despite a reminder of the flaws in the show’s voting system, Season 28 was another thrilling season full of incredible performances and an overall enjoyable cast of celebrities.

With Season 28 in the books, the wait for Season 29 is officially underway as fans look ahead to the next cycle of the long-running season. Although fans will, likely, have to once again wait until the fall season for a new season of the show, there’s no time like the present to speculate about the celebrities we’d like to see compete as part of the show’s next cycle!

Over the course of its 28 seasons, Dancing with the Stars has been known to follow certain tropes including the likes of NFL stars, industry legends, reality personalities, former child stars, among others. They’ve also been known to dabble in political waters, but for the sake of this list that’s one troupe we’ve opted to exclude – as we’re hopeful Season 29 will avoid political figures.

With so many countless possibilities, it was difficult to narrow down a list of  celebrities we’d like to see compete in Season 29. However, we’ve managed to hone in on a diverse list of men and women who would make for an unforgettable addition to the Dancing with the Star franchise!
