The eerie drama Manifest is slated to return very soon on NBC, with its second season. Let’s get into all the details and predictions about Manifest Season 2.

Mystery sitcom Manifest was received well by audiences during its first season in part due to its mixture of elements such as drama, mystery, suspense, and fantasy. The cryptic series surrounding the “second lives” of various airline passengers from a missing plane and their newfound supernatural connection to each other is absolutely riveting.

In the last moments of Season 1, viewers were left on a cliffhanger after a physical scuffle between characters Jared (J.R. Ramirez) and Zeke (Matt Long) led to a gunshot. This situation may leave huge repercussions for the Season 2 plot.

There have been no exact details confirmed on the plot of the new season, though. It will once again likely focus on main characters Ben (Josh Dallas) and Michaela Stone (Melissa Roxburgh) trying to crack down on all the details of their mysterious Flight 828, along with trying to connect the dots about the relationship between the passengers, the flight, and the “callings”.

The Manifest Season 2 release is roughly three weeks away, and the drama will return to its regular time slot of 10/9c starting Monday, January 6 and air on the following Mondays going forward.

What viewers can expect in Manifest  Season 2 is the action and suspense to increase to an apex as Ben and Michaela are seemingly racing against time, powerful figures who may want to exploit the passengers’ supernatural abilities, and even forces beyond their control.
