Elle Fanning is the younger sister of fellow actress Dakota Fanning and an accomplished performer in her own right. What are her 10 best films so far?

If you watched the recently released Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, then you’re familiar with Elle Fanning. She has been acting since she was a child, just like her sister, Dakota. Dakota and Elle have taken Hollywood by storm with their gifted talents. But while the two are often compared, Elle has taken her own path in the industry.

She’s performed in her fair share of offbeat independent movies and genre films. She is also our first official Disney live-action Aurora, although her portrayal is a little different from the fairytale since the story focuses on Angelina Jolie’s Maleficent.

Her big breakout role came when she starred in J.J. Abram’s movie, Super 8. While she acted in several projects before that, her work in Super 8 helped her break out of her child actress realm and into a bonafide movie star.

Recently, she appeared in movies like 20th Century Women, The Neon Demon, Teen Spirit, Mary Shelley, and more. She’ll star as Catherine the Great later this year in a Hulu miniseries. She’ll also star in an upcoming romantic-drama film on Netflix called All the Bright Places based on the book of the same name.

For now though, let’s check out her top ten best films of all time, so far.
