2. What will happen with Jo?

Okay, so forgive me for wording the question that way. I definitely don’t think a woman is only good for being a wife and mother. However, much of Jo’s storylines have centered around Karev or Karev’s have centered around her. The last we saw of Jo, she’d pretty much stolen an abandoned baby.

We wondered what Karev would think of this when he returned. Well, now it looks like he’s not going to get to say anything unless it’s written in that this is why he leaves.

However, what’s going to happen with Jo now. Will she be the one that offers some updates? Could she have a long-distance relationship with her husband? Or will she end up leaving or divorcing Alex?

1. Who will become Meredith’s person?

Alex had stepped up as Meredith’s person on Grey’s Anatomy. He was the one she got in touch with after running away and giving birth to Ellis. He was there when she had suffered that beating in the hospital and was left deaf for much of the episode. We’ve loved seeing their relationship bloom, especially considering how much Alex was disliked at first.

Meredith is the last remaining intern from the first season. She’s also one of only three original characters left. And she still needs her person.

Will we see Amelia or Maggie step up as that? What about Jo considering their blossoming relationship? Or is she ready to step out without a person?
