With 21 seasons and 3 spin off version of Big Brother in the books, we decided to take a look back at Big Brother history. Now, we’ve decided to take a look back at the 3 you need to rewatch. This will include the Celebrity and Over the Top version of the show.

To qualify for this list, this has to be a top-notch season of Big Brother. It doesn’t matter why it is top-notch, it just has to be top-notch. One that people still talk about to this day as one of the greatest seasons of all time. No. 1 is Big Brother 10.

No. 1: Big Brother 10

Big Brother 10 is the closest thing you are going to see to a season without twists. It only really had two twists to speak of: the first was voting for the first HOH instead of competing for it. The second was America got to vote for one person to be America’s player for one week. I truly feel that the lack of twists let the gameplay of these houseguests shine.

It was absolutely amazing to watch Dan Gheesling and Memphis Garrett run the house that season. Dan in particular, provided us with some of the most impressive gameplay ever seen. You also had your share of character such as Renny Martyn, Jerry MacDonald, Keesha Smith, and Jessie Godderz. There was also one of the greatest flame outs of all time when Brian Hart started off strong but ended up being the first evicted after coming on too strong. Like every good season, this one had its share of heroes (Renny, Keesha, and Dan among others) and villains (Jessie, Jerry, and Libra among others).

The cast was also very diverse as housemates ranged in age from 22 (Jessie) to 75 (Jerry). In addition, There were a member of the LGBTQ community (Steven Daigle), an Asian-American (Angie Swindell), and 2 African-Americans (Bryan Ollie and Libra), and 2 houseguests 50 or older (Renny and Jerry).  All of the elements listed helped create arguably the greatest season of Big Brother ever.
