What a start to a season, right? Good Girls Season 3 came back with a bang, and it’s left us with questions. The biggest is whether [spoiler] is dead.

Caution: In case you can’t guess, there are spoilers in this post for the Good Girls Season 3 premiere. You need to watch it before you get into this post, unless you don’t mind knowing how it all ends.

When Good Girls Season 2 ended, we were left with many questions. Most of the answers came during the premiere, especially the biggest surrounding Rio’s fate. Now we have so many more questions, including about one particular FBI agent.

More from NBC

It didn’t take too long for Good Girls Season 3, Episode 1 to tell us that Rio was most definitely still alive. He’d turned informant, helping to put a few people away. Turner was keeping him safe in a hotel room, and it looked like Rio hated that he was turning on those he was once close to.

However, at the very end, as Rio led Turner to one last person, it was clear there was something bigger at play. As he was checking out of the hotel, Turner was leading a crew to an (unknowingly) empty warehouse. It was all a set-up, with some of Rio’s guys turning up as the FBI agents removed their bulletproof vests realizing that they’d been sent on a wild goose chase. Rio’s men open fired, leaving agents dead and injured.

One of those lying on the ground was Turner, bullet wounds in his chest and bleeding out.

Is Turner dead on Good Girls Season 3?

So, is that it for Turner? Is the FBI agent who we certainly had some mixed feelings for really out of the series?

It certainly looks like it! Turner wasn’t moving on the ground, while someone near him was. With where the bullet wounds were and the amount of blood on the ground, it certainly suggests that Turner isn’t making it out of that shooting alive.

In a way, Turner’s storyline was done. He was brought in to bring Beth and the others down. Instead, he managed to temporarily turn Rio into a criminal informant, but only long enough for Rio to find a way to get out of dodge. While Rio is out there, it wouldn’t need Turner to be on this case. This could be a way to bring Noah back into the story, continuing the relationship between him and Annie.

While I can’t say for certain, I do think that this is the end of the line for Turner. Rio has won. For now.
