2. Miss Fisher and the Crypt of Tears

Loved Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries? Well, it’s time to return to the time period. Our sleuth is back and this time she’s heading to the British Palestine in the 1920s. After releasing a Bedouin girl from unjust imprisonment, she uncovers a mystery of priceless emeralds dating back to the war. You just know that she can’t overlook a mystery.

This is a feature-length episode of the series. Don’t forget that all three seasons of Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries are now on Acorn TV, along with the spin-off Ms. Fisher’s Modern Mysteries.

1. Blood Season 2

If you love Broadchurch, you’ll need to check out the Acorn TV original series, Blood. The first season is already available to stream in full and the second season will debut on the service in March. Episode are released weekly, with Episodes 1 and 2 of the new season dropping at the very start of the month.

Jim Hogan heads back home a year after his wife is suspiciously murdered, only to find out that his daughter Fiona is suffering from the same illness that afflicted her mother. Jim doesn’t want to just solve the mysteries but reconnect with his family. But it’s hard when reconnecting adds to the grief.

To make matters worse, when Fiona’s car crashes into a canal, everyone is shocked to learn there was a body in her trunk. Is Fiona responsible for that body or has it been planted?

Episodes begin on Mar. 9, 2020 and air weekly.
