Love is Blind: Amber’s 5 glaring red flags

Let’s talk for a moment about how Love is Blind is supposed to be about reality, but there is no doubt whatsoever that Amber has been fake.

Look, we get it. Everyone that can see understands there is a massive physical connection between Barnett and Amber. He says she has the “fire” that he needed in his life. That doesn’t mean there aren’t several reasons why he should tread extremely cautiously.

3. Nobody is that funny

Barnett’s family did not take too kindly to Amber. Maybe it’s because she laughs at everything like Barnett taught Dave Chappelle how to be a comedian. Every single thing does not require a jaw open belly laugh. We know you’re selling it. You know you’re selling it. And Barnett’s family knows you’re being disingenuous. Speaking of that…

4. The fake snort

If the laugh is fake, then the snort is beyond fake. When situations get more and more awkward, the snort becomes more and more noticeable. It’s a distraction technique that is never cute, and, in the framework of Love is Blind, it’s an ambush. It’s all unnecessary touching, playing with her hair, comedy club laughter. When that doesn’t win someone over, however, and the ruse is unmasked like a cheap Scooby Doo villain, out comes the snort so there is a different topic of discussion and she can say how craaaaazy she is. (eye roll).

5. Debt

Is she really going to saddle Barnett with a quarter million dollar loan repayment that she A) accumulated without getting a degree, and B) hasn’t even remotely tried to pay off. I mean, she hasn’t even tried to pay this thing off incrementally or with structured payments. It’s probable she hasn’t made payments because she’s been unemployed, but her entire life goal is to basically mooch off someone else if she racks up that kind of debt and wants to be a stay-at-home Mom.
