The Invisible Man, starring Elisabeth Moss and Aldis Hodge, is now playing in theaters. Will you be watching sci-fi horror this weekend?

For a questionable, almost laughable concept (was that just me?), The Invisible Man is getting amazing reviews. At the time of this writing, the sci-fi horror has a 92% fresch score at Rotten Tomatoes from critics and 91% from moviegoers who caught early screenings of the movie. With The Invisible Man now in theaters worldwide, will you be watching or waiting to read more reviews?

The Invisible Man follows Cecilia Kass (Elisabeth Moss) as she tries to break free from a violent relationship. Cecilia’s childhood friend and sister manage to help hide her. Soon after, Cecilia learns that her ex (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) has commited suicide and left a generous amount of money and property to her. But Cecilia suspects his death was a hoax and he has found a way to be invisible in order to get to her.

Critics are calling the movie “emotional” and “gripping,” which I find intriguing and will now be checking out. Is is as clever and captivating as reviews claim? Only one way to find out! Will you be watching the movie in theaters this weekend?

I do have one complaint, though, and that’s the trailer. We recently discussed this on Hidden Remote, but why do recent trailers ruin the entire movie? They give away far too many details. From the trailer above, I can see that Cecilia will have to take down her ex on her own. We see how he finds her and several jump scares we’ll now be looking out for.

By the end of the trailer, we also see Cecilia finally able to face him and fight back. What else can possibly happen? My guess? She kills him. Unless The Invisible Man throws another twist our way, I can’t say we’ll be too surprised.
