Bob’s Burgers: 6 memorable episodes set at Wagstaff School
3. “The Quirkducers”
No list about the best Bob’s Burgers episodes would be complete without a holiday episode and unsurprisingly, a lot don’t feature Wagstaff. For the most part, the kids are usually at home with Bob and Linda. However, “The Quirkducers” is the expectation. Serving as Season 7’s Thanksgiving episode, this episode is unlike any of the other holiday episodes for a multitude of reasons so let’s get into what happened in the episode.
“The Quirkducers” is the show’s Thanksgiving episode as mentioned and it features the kids convincing Mr. Frond to put on their Thanksgiving play. For Tina, it’s a way to combat her bullies who refer to her as “quirky.” While for Louise, it’s a chance to get out of school early.
Upon hearing Louise’s plan, Tina is furious before finding out the rest of the cast wants the exact same thing. On the day, Louise puts her plan in motion, only to feel terrible afterward and apologize to Tina.
Despite being set at Wagstaff, the school doesn’t make or break the episode. As far as holiday episodes go, this might not be anyone’s favorite Thanksgiving episode but it’s unique. What makes the episode special is the heartfelt moment between Louise and Tina. It’s such a rarity to see their relationship showcased so it was a welcomed change. While some might not think of school during Thanksgiving, it was nice to see Bob’s Burgers do something different for the holiday.
