The concept and story The Invisible Man may either seem intriguing or silly to you (it was the latter for me), but moviegoers who gave the movie a shot have been pleasantly surprised! At Rotten Tomatoes, the movie has a glowing score of 91% fresh from critics and an 88% from audiences. It sees like, if you have not yet watched it, you are missing out!
The Invisible Man follows Cecilia (Moss), a woman trapped in a violent and abusive relationship. One night, Cecilia manages to escape with the help of a friend, but her nightmare is far from over. She quickly learns that her ex has committed suicide and that he left a large portion of his wealth to her.
Cecilia believes it’s a hoax and that he is still around. The man she knew wouldn’t give up that easily. After a series of mysterious events, Cecilia comes to the conclusion that her ex is alive and has found a way to be invisible in order to continue torturing her.
