Gayle is one of the most polarizing characters on Bob’s Burgers but her episodes are always memorable. Let’s look at five of her best including Season 10’s.

As far as side characters go, Bob’s Burgers has a pretty diverse and fun crew. While the Belcher family and Teddy are usually in the spotlight, some of the side characters steal the show. There are a few side characters that aren’t as beloved, though. That’s the case with Gayle, Linda’s sister, as she can be a bit polarizing and understandably so.

For the most part, Gayle appears on Bob’s Burgers pretty infrequently. Despite that, there are a handful of episodes in which she plays a big part. Looking all the way back at Season 1, we got a taste of just how eccentric Gayle could be. Since then, things have been a little bit more toned down but things with Gayle aren’t ever completely calm. She always seems to bring chaos in her wake, especially for Linda.

What makes Gayle such an unforgettable character is that she’s voiced by Megan Mullally. Known for her role on Will & Grace, Mullally has truly made Gayle her own and it’s always a treat when she’s on the show. While she’s voiced other characters, no one can lay a finger on her role as Gayle. In a weird way, it seems like a role that only she could do and one that not everyone could pull over.

Gayle might be polarizing but her appearances are always memorable. With “Yurty Rotten Scoundrels,” we get our second taste of Gayle this season. In honor of that, it would only be right to look back at some of her “best” episodes. Her episodes might not be her best but they are certainly memorable.

Before getting started, there will be spoilers from this week’s Bob’s Burgers episode, “Yurty Rotten Scoundrels.”
