Meghan Markle narrates upcoming Disney nature documentary

Meghan Markle booked her first gig post-royal life rather quickly. Hear her narrate Disney’s upcoming nature documentary, Elephant.

First gig post-royal life? Booked and done! Meghan Markle narrates Disneyna Disneynature’s Elephant, which premires on Disney Plus on April 3. We’re not sure how much Markle will be returning to the spotlight after stepping down from working members of the royal family, but her first job post-royal is pretty sweet.

There were many rumors about this, and Disney has finally confirmed it all, announcing that audiences can listen to Markle narrate the touching documentary on elephants. At the London premiere of Lion King, video of Prince Harry leaked, in which he is seen and heard chatting about Meghan Markle’s interest in being involved in a Disney project. “Next time, if anyone needs any extra voiceover work, we can make ourselves available,” Harry is heard saying.

Elephant will follow a family of elephants on a 1,000 mile journey across Africa. According to the trailer, this adventure will “change their lives.” The deal between Markle and Disney will make a donation to Elephants Without Borders, a wildlife charity supported by Harry.
