With Big Brother Canada 8 now over, we decided to look back at the season. We will be going down the list of every Big Brother Canada 8 and detailing their worst moves. Here are Vanessa Clements’s worst moves.

Vanessa entered the Big Brother Canada 8 house on Day 1, got off to a strong start. A twist saw Canada vote to keep their favorites safe from eviction in week 1. There would be no Head of Household. Instead, the four people with the fewest votes were in jeopardy of leaving and would have three chances to save themselves: a physical competition, a mental competition, and through their social game. Vanessa was one of the people Canada voted to keep safe.

In week 2, she helped form the KVBS alliance with Kyle Rozendal, Sheldon Jean, and Brooke Warnock. Chris Wyllie won HOH and targeted Micheal Stubley for a backdoor. He nominated Brooke alongside Hira Deol as his pawns. Hira won the POV to save himself that week and Chris named Micheal the replacement nominee. Vanessa aided Chris in his plan to backdoor Micheal by voting to evict him. Micheal was evicted 9-3.

In week 3, Sheldon won HOH and targeted Minh-Ly for a possible backdoor. He nominated Madeline Di Nunzio and Rianne Swanson as his initial nominees. In a twist, each player selected to compete in the POV that week was able to pick a partner to compete with them. The player selected by random draw would win the POV while the person picked by the player chosen by random draw would win immunity. Minh-Ly was selected to play in the competition by random draw and picked Vanessa as her partner.

Since Sheldon was targeting Minh-Ly for a backdoor, he asked Vanessa to throw the POV competition. This did not sit well with Vanessa and she told Minh-Ly about being asked to throw the POV, blaming Brooke for it. Minh-Ly told others about this and word eventually got back to Kyle, Brooke, and Sheldon (members of Vanessa’s alliance). They confronted Vanessa about what she did and Vanessa denied everything, pushing the blame on Minh-Ly.

At first, Vanessa tried her hardest to win the POV. However, she decided it was better to have the trust of her alliance and threw it. Madeline ended up winning the POV, while her partner John Luke Kieper earned immunity. Needing a replacement nominee, Sheldon nominated Minh-Ly.

Frustrated by the lies being told about her, Minh-Ly confronted Vanessa to get to the bottom of everything. However, Vanessa denied she had anything to do with it. So, Minh-Ly called a house meeting to try and figure it out. During the house meeting, Jamar Lee’s actions made Vanessa and Kyle feel uncomfortable. They went to production with it and Jamar was expelled from the game after production determined he had crossed the line. Two days later, Kyle was also expelled for what production deemed “a pattern of problematic behavior.” As a result, Big Brother Canada reset the game, made Sheldon eligible to compete for HOH and voided nominations.

With Kyle now gone, Vanessa, Brooke, and Sheldon brought Susanne Fuda and Chris into their alliance. Sheldon repeated as HOH after Chris gave it to him. However, Carol Rosher wanted to be evicted on Thursday and informed Sheldon. Some were not on board with Carol’s wishes, including Vanessa.

Sheldon nominated Carol and Minh-Ly, with the target of the house being uncertain. Hira won the POV that week and since Carol still had desires to leave on Thursday, chose not to use it.

Then, on March 23rd, houseguests were given the devastating news by executive producer/showrunner Erin Brock that, due to local measures taken to curb the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), Big Brother Canada 8 would be coming to an early end. Their travel home had been arranged home for them and they would have one last day together in the house. Vanessa left the Big Brother Canada house at 6:18 pm on March 24th.

Vanessa’s worst moves of Big Brother Canada 8

Vanessa’s worst move was telling Minh-Ly she was asked to throw the POV competition in week 3. It stirred up a whole lot of unnecessary drama, that could have really done damage to her game. Luckily for her, the rest of KVBS believed her lies that it wasn’t her.
