Role Models (2008)

As an adult in your community, you should be responsible, mature, and set an example for children. Buddies and work colleagues Wheeler (Seann William Scott) and Danny (Paul Rudd) are not quite an example of that in Role Models. As salesmen, a work presentation at a school goes awry when they get handcuffed for steering their truck loose from a tow truck.

The two men are now forced to do community service (or just go to jail), which ends up being mentoring teens. They are paired with one adolescent each to teach them the ways of being a great citizen. Wheeler gets Ronnie (Bobb’e J. Thompson), someone who’s not afraid to spit out his true feelings. Danny gets Augie (Christopher Mintz-Plasse), a geek who loves LARPing.

Watch as these two clueless men hilariously try to be sages and “role models” to their mentees!

Mr. Woodcock (2007)

In Mr. Woodcock, John Farley (Seann William Scott) doesn’t have fond memories of school back in the day, particularly gym class. This is because his hard-nosed gym teacher Mr. Woodcock (Billy Bob Thornton) made life miserable through the intensity of his classes.

Now a prospering professional, John visits his mother’s house one day only to realize mean Woodcock is her beau. What ensues is mania, as John tries to end this relationship while also trying to prove he is tougher than Woodcock.

Can John stand up to the mean Woodcock now?
