1. Gold Digger

The No. 1 pick has to be the other new Acorn TV Original series joining the service. Gold Digger hails from the UK and is an excellent romantic thriller starring Julia Ormond and Ben Barnes. When a 60-year-old woman falls in love with a 35-year-old man, her already dysfunctional family breaks even more.

There’s a huge question to answer. Does Benjamin really love Julia or is he just after her money? Naturally, the family fears the latter, which could cause even more of a breakdown of communication.

Episodes are released weekly, with the first two joining Acorn TV on May 4, 2020.
