Songland Season 2, Episode 3 sees H.E.R. choose a song from the hopefuls. Here’s how to find out her pick live tonight.
During the previous episode, Luis Fonsi had to make a choice. After narrowing it down to his top three, he eventually picked PipoBeats’s Sway. This wasn’t all that surprising considering Pipo was the only contestant with a Latino background and able to connect to the culture in a way that spoke throughout his composition. It was the only song Luis could really feel himself performing.

Now it’s time for H.E.R. to pick a song. The contestants are back with a song that they think will match her style.
For those who haven’t heard of H.E.R. before, you may know her as Gabriella Wilson. Pronounced “her,” the backronym stands for Having Everything Revealed, and she started out on Radio Disney’s Next Big Thing in 2009. She released her first single Something to Prove under her real name. She has been nominated and won a number of Grammy and BET Awards, among other awards.
So, now she’s on the lookout for another song. It’s time for the hopefuls to show off their compositions and work with the talents within the industry to create something that is perfect for H.E.R. That’s always the fun part of the show. We’ll get to see the performance on the night, whichever song H.E.R. chooses.
