The best family friendly movies and TV shows to stream

Hulu
Instant Family: A movie for older kids and parents, Instant Family follows a loving couple who don’t have any children of their own. Because of their age and the fact that older children don’t get adopted, they decide to take in a teenager, but she comes with two younger siblings. If that’s not already a handful, these kids aren’t adapting too well.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid: You are familiar with the stories, now introduce your kid to the adventures of Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Other nostalgic movies available on Hulu include El Dorado and Cheaper by the Dozen. Take your pick!
Ferdinand: The movie Ferdinand is underrated and you won’t ever change my mind! The film went unappreciated by critics and I believe needs to be seen by a larger audience. It’s fun, features colorful characters, and has an adorable message.
HBO Now
Sesame Street: Two words: Sesame Street! HBO Now has all the episodes of Sesame Street and premieres new ones each Saturday morning at 9 a.m. CT. There’s also a series called Sesame Street: Healthy Habits that helps youngsters develop and practice, well, good and healthy habits!
Pokemon: Detective Pikachu: This movie surprised us all. It’s fun (hilarious even) and unexpectedly sweet. It’s rated PG, but young kids will love it, too.
Rewatchable classics: Old favorites include Little Rascals, Babe, and The Mighty Ducks.
