Need a new series to binge-watch during as quarantine continues? Check out Upload, now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

These days, we are all searching for new movies and TV shows to watch. Thankfully, with so many streaming services available, there doesn’t seem to ever be a shortage of new content to watch! May 1 sees the premiere of Upload, now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

The weekend is here, which means there’s new content now available to stream across various services. This feature is focusing on Upload, which has joined the Prime Video family. Will you be watching? Below, we’ll go over the synopsis and info you need to know to make a decision!

Upload comes from the mind of Emmy-Award winning writer Greg Daniels. You know Daniels from The Office and Parks and Recreation, so yes, we’re in for something great!

The sci-fi comedy follows Nathan Brown (portrayed by Robbie Amell), a web. and app developer who is hospitalized after a self-driving car accident. In Brown’s world, technology is so advanced that it assists us in just about every task. There are hologram phones, 3D food printers, and more.

In Brown’s case, he has been “uploaded” into a virtual afterlife, which the synopsis teases that this happens when someone finds themselves in a “near-death” experience.

Upload will take viewers to Nathan Brown’s virtual new world where he will have to navigate this new digital extension of his life. The series consists of 10 episodes, all of which are available to stream now. Upload also stars Allegra Edwards, Andy Allo, and others.
