The Brown Sisters series is romantic, funny, and quick. How could Netflix say no?

The first to make the cut is incredibly biased on my part. The Brown Sisters series by Talia Hibbert is easily my favorite romance series at the moment. Regardless, that doesn’t negate just how delightful the series is and why Netflix should give it a chance. With a current push for more Black-led films and TV shows, now would be the perfect time for Netflix to make a move and decide to adapt the series.

At this point, The Brown Sisters series is set to have three books: Get A Life, Chloe Brown, Take A Hint, Dani Brown and Act Your Age, Eve Brown. The three books follow the Brown sisters as they make their way through life while also having romances and doing things that make them uncomfortable. The first book was released in December 2019 and was beloved by romance readers around the world. The second was released on June 23, 2020, and the third book is set to release in 2021.

What makes them perfect for Netflix though is how lovable the characters are. As soon as you meet Chloe, you want to root for her and once you meet Red, it’s all over. Additionally, these books aren’t just romances as the first book focuses a lot on Chloe’s growth and her becoming a more independent person.

In particular, she has fibromyalgia and it’s a huge part of her character but it doesn’t define her. By the end, you’re rooting for Chloe and no doubt Netflix would keep that same theme if they adapted the series.

While this is far from Hibbert’s first series, this one is probably the best fit for Netflix. Her two previous series are incredible but wouldn’t fit as well on the platform. Either way, it would be amazing if Netflix decided to adapt The Brown Sisters series.
