No matter, enough critics praised the movie for it to continue landing on top 10 lists as one of the best movies in the actor’s career.

What the movie is about: Josh (David Moscow) wants to be “big” more than anything else in life. So when he gets the chance to make this his wish at a fortunetelling machine at an amusement park, Josh doesn’t hesitate. Sure enough, Josh wakes up as a grown man (a fun and endearing performance from Tom Hanks).
Simply the best: The movie is fresh, sweet, and fun! If you are watching several Tom Hanks films and they all seem to be of the same genre (which isn’t unusual for Hanks), watch Big! The movie also stars Elizabeth Perkins, Robert Loggia, Jared Rushton, and others.
