What will Bill do without the Flame?

Bill has now learned that there is no Flame. Clarke hadn’t realized Bellamy had converted so told him the plan. Showing his faith in Bill, Bellamy shared the full truth.

This is going to be a huge problem for Bill. He needs the Flame to be able to start (what we’ve now found out is) the test. Without the Flame, it suggests that there is no way to start this test. It means humanity will never “wage the last war,” or whatever this test is going to turn out to be.

So, what does this mean for Bill and his followers? What’s his next step?

What’s next for Clarke and her friends?

Bill isn’t the only one in trouble. Clarke and her friends are definitely in trouble. One of the only things protecting them was Clarke having the Flame. She was even willing to sacrifice herself for the sake of her friends.

Now Bill knows that Clarke has played him this whole time. She’s known the whole time that she no longer has the Flame. On top of that, she’s known the whole time that it was destroyed.

Bill is going to need to find another way to start this test. That means looking back at everything Clarke and her friends know. Expect more of that mind-reading machine.
