10 new movies and TV shows to stream in September 2020 on Disney, HBO Max and more

One of the newest streaming services, HBO Max, has to prove itself! Why should it be among the greats? It’s nowhere near Netflix, and may never get there, but HBO has always been known for its great movies.

HBO is quick to obtain streaming rights to some of the biggest movies. So once they leave theaters, you can find them streaming at HBO. But when it comes to original content, the network is still working on it. Which of the below are you most looking forward to watching?

• Coastal Elites, Sept. 12
• The Third Day, Sept. 14
• We Are Who We Are, Sept. 14
• The Murders at White House Farm, date to be announced

Disney Plus

Without even looking at the list of new movies coming to Disney Plus, I already know the biggest (not only of the month, but of all-time for the streaming service so far) is Mulan.

Mulan will be diving into the water and test out how big features perform when they go straight to a streaming platform, will they do this with Black Widow, too? We’re hoping not. Black Widow deserves a big-screen debut.

The movie Mulan will be available to Disney Plus subscribers for $30 to watch as many times as they’d like, as long as they have Disney Plus. Worth it? That’s all up to you!
