Kailyn Lowry is clapping back! Two months after giving birth to her fourth child, the Teen Mom 2 star is fully owning and still learning to love the skin she’s in, no matter what anybody says.

Of course, this hasn’t stopped the ongoing mom-shaming, body-shaming, and general shade  being thrown in Lowry’s direction online. In some ways, it might’ve even revved it up. But as the Daily Mail reports, the MTV star hasn’t been taking any negativity from the haters.

According to Kailyn Lowry, she no longer places unreasonable expectations on herself or her body this go-around, no matter what anybody says or thinks about her. On top of that, she’s proclaiming to all that the incessant mom-shaming should stop, especially from other mothers. In Kailyn’s words, motherhood is not “a competition.”

In celebration of unity, motherhood, and realness, the reality star uploaded what she called a “challenging shoot,” sharing a shot from her postpartum photoshoot with her fans on social media.

Open, honest, and realistic about where she’s at right now, Kailyn explained in her lengthy caption that she’s learned a lot as a mother-of-four, including having patience with herself.

Lowry’s candor about learning to love a less than “perfect” body and what motherhood should truly look like has unfortunately not stopped the trolls from leaving unfair comments aimed at her postpartum form and even less fairly, her skills as a mother.

In response to all the hate, the reality star revealed that it often feels like “a lose lose” in the “court of public opinion.”

The TV personality wrote, “I get body shamed, when I go to the gym it’s selfish. when I love my body, it’s unhealthy’ she said as she spoke about the unnecessary criticism women face.”

Now, the reality star is calling out those who set impossible standards for mothers, and we are fully here for it. No matter what the haters say, Kailyn claims that she’s setting her “own pace” this time.
