Javi Marroquin gets emotional on Instagram Live over Lauren Comeau split and cheating allegations

Well, Javi Marroquin and Lauren Comeau have officially called it quits.

According The Ashley’s Reality Round Up, Marroquin recently opened up about the whole ordeal on his Instagram Live. And the tears just kept on coming. For many Teen Mom fans, unfortunately, the alleged reason for their split was not a secret nor did it come as a huge surprise. Not anymore, anyway. Because many, including Lauren apparently, saw the relationship ending incident unfold on MTV.

The moment that changed everything between them allegedly happened while filming. During a recent episode of Teen Mom 2,  Marroquin was caught on camera attempting to hookup with ex-wife Kailyn Lowry. Yikes.

Sure, this isn’t the first time Javi has seemingly showed lingering feelings for ex and baby mama Kailyn. But this time around, he was in a majorly committed relationship with Lauren Comeau. And as many fans know too well, these two already had enough problems of their own, including cheating. And being unfaithful, of course, changes everything.

Speaking of changes, Javi explained the “real” reason he wanted to get on Instagram Live. The reality star opened up about how this breakup has affected him and his family, admitting:

"It’s no secret that this year has been hard for me and my family…there’s a lot that I need to work on."

Javi Marroquin also discussed some of the things he’ll be working on. One of the first changes to his life he mentioned is that he’s going back to church, post Lauren split.

When he shared his first steps towards betterment with the fans, Javi vividly became emotional, even tearful, adding that he’s currently in search of a prayer group and basically, could use a little more support than he’d previously been willing to admit to himself or Lauren.

Some fans don’t buy his claims and see the whole Insta-display as a well-timed ploy, rather than a changed perspective or being a “changed man.”  One person replied, “Everybody get religion when they get caught.” Another said, “Lauren will see this video and be back by Saturday.”

That theory, for now, remains to be seen, of course. And time will tell if it’s also far-fetched. But maybe, just maybe, Lauren will set the record straight soon. Stay tuned.
