NBC is offering a night of Presidential coverage rather than new Transplant

Transplant has taken over our Tuesday night viewing. The Canadian medical drama hasn’t been afraid to touch on a number of social and political topics in kind, inclusive ways.

What about tonight, Nov. 3? Will there be a new episode of Transplant on NBC tonight?

More from NBC

It shouldn’t be surprising if I say no. There isn’t a new episode, and there isn’t’ going to be a rerun either. NBC has a full night of Presidential Election coverage. It’s voting day, and we’ll get some sort of idea of who will be voted in as President. However, don’t expect all ballots to be counted due to time. There is allowance for this in the Constitution.

It isn’t only Transplant that is being preempted for the Election coverage. The Voice and This Is Us won’t be new, either.

When will a new episode of Transplant air on NBC?

We’ve had two weeks of no new Transplant though. Last week we took a week off for a double episode of This Is Us.

So, what can we expect in the new episode? “Birth and Rebirth” will see Bash help soon-to-be-parents make a difficult decision when they come in for a routine check. Meanwhile, Theo has to deal with being beaten up by a patient (and not even his own patient) in the hospital.

While all that happens, Dr. Bishop wants to make Mags more efficient in the ER. That means timing her interactions with patients. Don’t expect this to go down with Mags all that well, but will it make her a better doctor?

You’ve got time to catch up on the season. All previous episodes are available to stream on both Hulu and Peacock TV.
