Let’s revisit some of the worst moments that took place in Bob’s Burgers.

Despite being named Bob’s Burgers, a lot of the episodes don’t take place in the restaurant. If you’re a fan of the show, it’s something we’re used to. If you’re a new viewer though, it might seem a little jarring. What’s so good at the show is that they use the restaurant as a setting the right amount. They don’t just set episodes in the restaurant without doing it for a reason.

Nevertheless, things at the restaurant aren’t always sunshine and rainbows. If an episode is set in Bob’s Burgers, then it’s likely something’s going wrong. Nine chances out of ten, it’s usually something related to the kids. Despite that, the restaurant is still a key part of the series and it’s obvious why Loren Bouchard decided to title the series as he did.

Thus far in Season 11, we haven’t seen any mishaps take place at the restaurant. That’s all going to change though as “Bob Belcher and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Kids” delves back into the restaurant and its many difficulties. With such a fun title and having it set in the restaurant, there’s no better time to look back at some of the biggest mishaps that have occurred at Bob’s Burgers. Let’s get into five of the biggest and most unforgettable missteps there have been at Bob’s Burgers.

Kicking things off is none other than Bob’s Burgers premiere, Human Flesh.

Things on Bob’s Burgers were rocky from the start. The first episode of the series, “Human Flesh” makes sure to have us feel immediately sorry for Bob and his family. After finding out someone spread a rumor that the restaurant sells burgers with human remains, they’re forced to shut down for Labor Day weekend. It ends up being a wild episode but thankfully, it all seems to work out in the end. Surprisingly, the episode ends with the restaurant turning a profit despite everything going on.

As far as mishaps go, this is a pretty big one. No one wants to eat at a restaurant that could serve human flesh and Hugo’s attack on them makes things even worse. Despite the Belchers handling it, it’s a rough start to their restaurant’s opening. By then, they’d already dealt with a lot and those rumors could have damned their business. Thankfully, it seemed to work out okay in the end but it could have been the end of Bob’s Burgers.
