Transplant Season 1, Episode 9 is a big episode for Bash as he tries to help a friend who is too scared to ask for it. At the same time, Mags has a patient who isn’t everything she seems.
In the exclusive sneak peek for the episode thanks to our friends at NBC, we see Mags treating a female patient who is covered in bruises and cuts. She even has a suspected broken wrist, which Mags quickly agrees is possible. They’ll need an x-ray to confirm.
This is where it turns strange. While the patient has a story about stepping in front of a bike and being knocked over, she’s agitated and scared. This patient keeps looking around the room to the hallway. What is she looking for? It’s not what you think…or is it?

There are going to be a few thoughts running through your head right now. Is she escaping a cult? Is he an abusive boyfriend who pretends to be her father? Is he an abusive parent she’s trying to get away from? Maybe he’s kidnapped her.
There are a lot of thoughts and theories. I’ll tell you now that you’ll be wrong with all of them. At least 90% of you won’t get the right answer. It is a wonderfully written episode that focuses on an important topic often overlooked or considered taboo.
Transplant deserves a lot of attention. This episode is going to prove why.
