Let’s meet competitor number 2: Season 11’s “Diarrhea of a Poopy Kid.”

With competitor one done, let’s get into competitor 2, Season 11’s “Diarrhea of a Poopy Kid.” As with the last slide, we’ll be talking about what happened in the episode and its impact.

If you haven’t watched the episode yet, there will be spoilers from this week’s Bob’s Burgers episode, “Diarrhea of a Poopy Kid.”

The episode begins with Gene getting sick during Thanksgiving, resulting in him starting the day off in the bathroom. The family starts eating together until the girls go to check on Gene. To make him feel better, he has them tell him stories about hating food. Louise’s story follows the plot of the Predator entitled the “Breadator” in which Gene defeats the “Breadator” but it doesn’t make him hate bread.

As for Tina, her story is a parody of Air Force One but it’s entitled Pear Force One in which Gene takes down the pears but it doesn’t make him hate pears, either. Bob also tells a story which is Armageddon entitled “Parmageddon” and we find out Gene got food poisoning from eating rotten chicken parm. The episode ends with Gene feeling better before getting sick as he leaves the bathroom.

Getting into the impact of the episode, “Diarrhea of a Poopy Kid” is basically everyone’s worst nightmare on a holiday. However, it does give Gene a bit of perspective and realize that maybe he should be a bit more careful with what he eats. It also proves the lengths the Belcher family is willing to go for each other. Ultimately, the episode shows how much the family loves each other but how they’re all willing to eat dinner outside of the bathroom to be with Gene.

No surprise “Diarrhea of a Poopy Kid” is another great Thanksgiving episode. Everyone is truly at their best in this episode even Gene despite his sickness. This is yet another lesson in being thankful that we’re all hopefully healthy for Thanksgiving this year. While it’s definitely a unique episode in terms of Thanksgiving episodes, it’s unforgettable.
