Bob’s Burgers: Ranking Gloria’s appearances including Season 11

Starting off the list is Gloria’s appearance in Season 10’s Christmas episode.

The first episode making the list from Season 10’s Christmas episode. Entitled “Have Yourself a Maily Linda Christmas,” a majority of the episode focuses on Linda trying to get a package delivered before Christmas. The subplot to that is Bob and Tina being stuck together with Linda’s parents: Gloria and Al along with Gayle. It’s going great until Gayle’s incident with the ottoman comes up.

Thankfully, the episode ends with the problem being solved by Bob of all people. It’s a surprising twist to the episode, but of all the episodes featuring Gloria, this one is the least exciting. Firstly, a majority of the episode focuses on Linda so Bob’s storyline with his in-laws is pushed to the side, and rightfully so. However, we go get a brief glimpse at how Gloria behaves with Linda versus Gayle and it’s questionable, to say the least.

As far as episodes go, this is easily the least exciting of all of Gloria’s appearances. In previous seasons, we’ve seen Gloria have a lot more screentime and even be featured as a major part of the episode. However, Gloria’s role in “Have Yourself a Maily Linda Christmas” could honestly be described as forgettable. Ultimately, the episode could have gone on without her and it would have been fine.

Either way, it did feature Gloria as part of the episode so it was worthy to be part of this list. At least from this point on, the other episodes on the list are going to feature Gloria as a larger part of the plot. Nevertheless, “Have Yourself a Maily Linda Christmas” gives us just a small dose of what Gloria can do.
