When is the second special Euphoria episode coming out?

Luckily, the truly captivating, coming-of-age HBO series starring Zendaya is set to return very soon with its second special episode. Much like the first part of the series special, chances are you definitely won’t want to miss what it has in store for audiences, as we patiently await season 2.

But before we get to when and where to watch the upcoming second special episode, let’s recap the premise for Euphoria.

Rotten Tomatoes critics consensus notes that while the Emmy Award winning HBO drama series is “at times hard to watch,” the show does a magnificent job of balancing, “its brutal honesty with an empathetic — and visually gorgeous — eye to create a uniquely challenging and illuminating series, held together by a powerfully understated performance from Zendaya.”

And we totally agree. IMDb describes the official storyline as, “a look at life for a group of high school students as they grapple with issues of drugs, sex and violence.”

When is the next episode of Euphoria coming out?

As Deadline reports, the second of two special episodes of Euphoria debuts at 9 p.m. on Sunday, January 24, 2021 on HBO. The special will be available to stream on HBO Max as well.

In case you missed it, the first bonus episode was titled “Trouble Don’t Last Always,” and it initially aired on Sunday, December 4, 2020. The first of the two special episodes follows Rue, played by Zendaya, during Christmas Eve.

The second special episode is titled “F*ck Anyone Who’s Not A Sea Blob,” and this time, the series follows Jules, played by Hunter Schafer, and gives an up close look at where she’s currently at as she reflects on the rollercoaster events of the year over the holidays.

Also noted by Deadline, Schafer will receive a co-executive producer credit for her work with this one. The Euphoria breakout star also co-wrote the second special episode with series creator Sam Levinson.
