James Caan

James Caan starred in Las Vegas as Ed Deline, the president of operations of the Montecito Resort and Casino. After running a tight ship at the Montecito and building a surrogate family with his close-knit group of trusted employees, Ed leaves Vegas after the first episode of the series’ fifth and final season. Caan was succeeded by fellow Hollywood veteran Tom Selleck.

While starring on the hit NBC comedy-drama, Caan co-starred in the now-classic Christmas film Elf in 2003 alongside Will Ferrell. Following the show’s run, Caan appeared in movies such as Get Smart, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, That’s My Boy, and more. He returned to series-regular television in the short-lived ABC sitcom Back in the Game in 2013.

Josh Duhamel

Josh Duhamel stars as Danny McCoy, the head of security at the Montecito and the lead of the show’s ensemble cast. Danny works under Ed as his apprentice and briefly takes over his position as the president of operations. Beyond a complicated love life, Danny also returns to service as a Marine in Iraq before returning to Vegas with a Silver Star as an American hero.

Since Las Vegas ended in 2008, Duhamel has kept busy on the big and small screens. Between co-starring in the Transformers franchise and becoming a romantic-comedy fixture, Duhamel’s work has reached various audiences. Duhamel returned to TV in 2015 with the short-lived CBS series Battle Creek and will next be seen in Netflix’s Jupiter’s Legacy. Most recently, the actor made his directorial debut with the film The Buddy Games, which he also co-wrote.

Duhamel met singer Fergie in 2004 when she appeared on Las Vegas with her band, Black Eyed Peas. The pair later married in 2009 and welcomed their son, Axl Jack in 2013. However, the famous couple split in 2017 and divorced in 2019.
