If you’ve ever wondered what Jennifer Aniston thinks about the Ross and Rachel debate on Friends, she settled it when she joined Instagram

It seems like every television series has a legacy and for Friends fans, the feel-good comedy features quite a few lingering questions that have become bedrock for the beloved series. Star Jennifer Aniston used her Instagram debut in 2019 to settle a very famous debate about Ross and Rachel’s relationship status.

Aniston’s 2019 Instagram debut featured a photo with several members of the cast, leading former Bachelor contestant Kaitlyn Bristowe to ask Aniston a very important question: “Are you and Ross still together!!???”

Aniston’s response: “Well, we’re on a break.”

Though definitely tongue in cheek, Aniston’s response “settles” an age-old question about whether or not Ross and Rachel’s infamous “break”, and earlier in 2019 she made it clear during a Today interview that Ross and Rachel would definitely be together today. That’s how their relationship rolls.

Naturally, Friends fans have been abuzz as the long-anticipated reunion inches closer on HBO Max. Production was delayed due to the pandemic, but the reunion will arrive soon enough and there’s no question that Friends fans are here for it.

Friends has always had legions of fans since the sitcom’s debut in 1994. Since then, syndication and streaming deals have made the show a hit with new generations of fans who have come to love the show years after its final episode aired in 2004. Though a reboot is unlikely, fans who loved the return of NBC’s Will & Grace refuse to give up hope that the reunion will be a gateway to more adventures from Rachel, Ross, Monica, Joey, Chandler and Phoebe.
